William and Carol Mays own and manage Mays Publishing. We are both writers. Bill writes about monsters and cyborgs. Carol writes about talking black cats. We also love to publish the works of other writers. Our goal is to build a reading experience for people with busy lives. We strive to publish work that can be read in five to fifteen minutes. We also want to publish visual content (art, photography, video).
Services
We offer a free online literary magazine. Our goal is to build a community of readers looking for short pieces to read. We want to publish content that fits into their schedule and inspires, entertains, and raises awareness.
Paid Services
Formatting for Print and Kindle - $200
Complex projects start at $1000 with a $500 down payment. This includes proofreading, line editing, adding interior photos, photography,videography, website design

Third Thursday
Meet us in Person at the Art Museum of South Texas on the Third Thursday of every month from 6-9 PM. We'll be there again on March 20, 2025 to host a Spring Fling open mic!
